As a casual academic at UniSC's School of Education and Tertiary Access, you will engage in a variety of teaching and assessment activities, offering flexibility and the opportunity to share your expertise in a supportive academic environment.
Primary Objectives:
• Deliver high-quality tutoring and teaching sessions to students across various Education and Tertiary Access disciplines.
• Develop and update course materials in line with industry standards.
• Assess and mark student assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
• Facilitate interactive learning experiences and moderate discussions.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Engage with students to enhance their learning experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
• A relevant postgraduate qualification in a Education and Tertiary Access-related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or academic assessment at a tertiary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students.
• Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback on student work.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current in the Education and Tertiary Access field.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
