About the role
:
1. Your role at the MPS will involve both independent work and working as a member of the multidisciplinary team. You will:
• Participate in morning ward rounds, including the Wednesday multidisciplinary aged care round
• Provide ongoing management and treatment of inpatients and residents
• Provide focused mobility/ falls assessment of our aged care residents
• Provide the outpatient community-focused service, people returning from hip and knee replacement surgery and general mobility referrals from the local GP's
2. The successful candidate will be supported by the HSM and network links with Tamworth Rural Hospital. Staff at the MPS are encouraged and supported to discuss situations with multidisciplinary team members and are afforded educational opportunities provided both face to face and via My Health Learning modules. You will also spend time on-site with Physiotherapists at Tamworth where planned education, network development, and ongoing support have been established.
About you:
3. You are a motivated Physiotherapist with rural experience and effective communication skills.
4. You feel confident in working autonomously and seeking advice when required.
5. You enjoy working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and taking an individualised approach to client care to achieve optimal outcomes for patients.

6. Physiotherapist with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
