Provide direct training and support to nurses and personal care workers to enable them to achieve their clinical and other skill competency requirements and to achieve additional/advanced clinical competencies. Using a validated framework/tools undertake learning and competency assessments and Provide clinical care for the purpose of providing clinical teaching and support to nursing and care staff at unit level. Drive and inspire a positive workplace culture that builds resilience, commitment and professionalism in all staff aligning with ARRCS vision, values and resident centric philosophy of the company. Maintain an appropriate code of conduct always acting as a positive role model supporting the strategic goals of the organisation including cultural diversity and reconciliation. Bachelor of Nursing Current AHPRA registration 3 years recent clinical or education experience relevant to aged and/or acute care NDIS Worker Screening Current year Influenza Vaccination Current National Police Check Current Driver's License Demonstrated experience as a preceptor/mentor/coach with the proven ability to use contemporary education and teaching methods to develop and motivate staff towards a learning culture. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment. Demonstrated ability to deliver and evaluate education and learning activities to meet individual learning needs using adult learning principles. Demonstrated skills in developing and teaching new approaches to practice that link evidence to improved consumer outcomes and experience Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of nursing scope of practice, delegation and supervision of self and others Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
