As the Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting all critical aeronautical applications at Adelaide Airport. Additionally, and in close conjunction with the business, you will support and maintain the applications and assist in the development of a technology roadmap for the aeronautical technologies.
Key responsibilities include: Day to day management of the availability and security of crucial aeronautical applications, ensuring they are fit for purpose and best in class.Be the face of aeronautical applications to the business and deal with key internal stakeholders.Together with the business, develop a structured lifecycle roadmap of the aeronautical applications.Manage upgrades, deployments, patches, and bug fixes, ensuring that all involved parties are updated on progress whilst adhering to all change control procedures.Take ownership and resolve Cyber Security Issues as soon as possible.Work closely with the technical team to ensure incident, change and problem management are performed.Report on availability, risks and remediations.Help design, document and maintain application standards and processes.Analyse and improve application monitoring to increase application uptime and pro-active resolution.Key requirements include: Tertiary qualifications in IT&T or an allied discipline.4+ years in information technology.A proven track record in administering and supporting enterprise applications.Demonstrated experience in supporting complex IT systems.Use of accepted IT methodologies and standards in project management.Proven experience in managing suppliers of applications.Experience with a hybrid environment including technologies such as SAAS, Azure, VMWare, Web hosting.Overall, you will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers.
