Servicing a diverse range of industries from Emergency Service and Rail to Mining via a network of international distributors our company prides itself on quality, durable and reliable products and the thorough service we deliver to our distributors.Role:Due to a recent vacancy our company is looking for an experienced Internal Sales professional – ideally from a commercial or industrial background looking to make their mark on our business located at our state-of-the art offices in Keysborough, Melbourne. The role will be entering, facilitating and invoicing customer orders in several regions world-wide within our Melbourne office, forecasting stock requirements and liaising with our factory in China to facilitate orders ready for customer collection.The role will also be responsible for supporting and being a conduit for our international company resources such as marketing. Being part of a small team having a can-do attitude, thoroughness and desire for continuous improvement is crucial. This opportunity is perfect for a person who enjoys working as part of a small, dedicated team with global reach and strives for better outcomes as the role has opportunity to morph over time into a broader role taking on more responsibility.Please note, this position is based in Keysborough, Melbourne, Australia and we are only considering applicants who are currently located in this area or can commute reliably.Key Responsibilities:Prompt, thorough and efficient processing of sales orders.Servicing distributors with a view to grow their business.Liaising with our various 3PL locations to ensure orders are dispatched and invoiced in a timely manner and the distributor kept informed along the way.Working collaboratively with our team to ensure business continuity which will require general commercial problem solving.Use of CRM to facilitate day to day business and monitor/grow customer pipelines to assist with sales forecasting and production scheduling.Working as part of the Sales team and analysing sales, potential growth areas and new product development opportunities.Support our travelling staff and reliably completing ad-hoc clerical and administration tasks as required.Working closely with all members of the team.Reporting on customer sales by customer and region, by model and using comparison against historical results.Who are we looking for?Excellent work ethic along with a can-do, positive, pro-active attitude.The ability to work collaboratively within a small team/office.Experience using MYOB Advanced (or a similar ERP) and MYOB CRM (or similar).Experience in customer service, sales and in general business operations of a wholesale/distribution business.Experience in industrial products and/or a technical product is preferred but not essential.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to prepare reports as required.A high degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Benefits:Competitive SalaryFree on-site parking.Excellent working environment.Training and Development Programmes.State-of-the art office facilitiesDETAILSRemote working: Not AvailableRole type: Full-timeSalary: Competitive
