As part of our continued growth and expansion in this area and having been awarded a number of Large Infrastructure projects located in the SA region, now is the best time to join our highly motivated and talented team.In order to consistently exceed our customers’ expectations, we understand that the most valuable resource we can have is our team.Relationship & Authorities:Reports to the Survey Manager;Proven strong organisational and time management skillsWorks closely with other Surveyors, Underground Service Locators and NDD team members;Qualifications & Experience:Relevant qualifications – a minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying.Minimum of 5 years of civil surveying experience, with exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects.Proven ability to lead and conduct field surveys for civil infrastructure projects, including roads, rail, utilities.Proficiency in operating survey equipment such as Trimble/Leica/GNSS.Skilled in managing and processing survey data using CAD, 12d and GIS software, as well as preparing detailed survey reports.Experience collaborating with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements and deadlines.Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and designs for construction set-out and ensure all works meet required standards.Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor junior surveyors, providing guidance and technical expertise.Experience with site machine file managementStrong interpersonal and communication skills.White Card certification.First Aid Certificate;Working within the Rail corridor Certification (State authority dependent);Proficiency in operating survey equipment – UAV/Drone LiDAR, Laser Scanning, SLAM.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out various survey roles whilst liaising with multiple stakeholders along the way.More specifically, your duties will include but not be limited to:Performing civil construction surveys to ensure accurate project execution.Conducting as-built & feature and level surveys.Surveying and mapping underground services.Continuously developing your skills by adopting new techniques and staying up-to-date with technological advancements in the industry.Responding effectively to client requests and preparing clear, concise reports.Managing and controlling survey documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.Creating as-built drawings.Operating and maintaining GPS and Total Station equipment.Mentoring junior staff and providing technical leadership.Processing site data to generate accurate and comprehensive deliverables.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Surveyor?Do you hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)?Which of the following types of infrastructure project do you have experience with?Which of the following First Aid accreditations do you currently hold?
