About the role To support our growth, we are seeking a B1 & B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with relevant industry experience to join our bROOME base.
The base carries out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to our fleet.
Ideally, we are seeking applicants with experience working on our aircraft types or similar.
To be successful in this role: Possess minimum 2 years work experience as a LAME, preferably with a sound knowledge of the Civil Aviation RegulationsHold a current CASA Part 66 License in CategoryB1 or B2 (Preferably have PT6 engine type rating or PT6 engine experience however not essential)Possess experience working on aircraft within our fleet or similarHighly motivated with a strong work ethicBe able to work effectively as part of a tight knit team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment, able to problem-solve and provide concise recommendationAbility multi-tasking and achieving goals and objectivesDemonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levelsAbility to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (DAMP)Eligibility to obtain an ASICKey duties and responsibilities of the role include Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with the aircraft's approved maintenance dataEnsuring all parts and materials are airworthy and appropriate for their applicationReporting all defects or faults identified during maintenance of aircraft or aeronautical products to the allocated Maintenance CoordinatorEnsuring all certifications are made in accordance with the Aviair approved systems of certificationWhat we offer you An attractive salary (plus paid overtime)Personal development opportunities to grow in a diverse, inclusive companyOpportunities for various type rating coursesExternal training opportunitiesA great team environmentSalary Sacrifice / salary packaging benefits (including remote area housing benefits)To apply, please submit a cover letter and resume outlining your relevant qualifications and experience as well as a copy of your license.
