Sacred Heart College in Sorrento seeks a skilled AV Technician for a permanent part-time position.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Arts and Theatre Technical Operations to provide AV and technical expertise for events and facilities at the college.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support services for audio, visual, and lighting equipment.
* Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
* Set up and distribute lighting networks.
Additional duties include:
* Assisting the Arts department with production sets and props.
* Setting up and packing down AV equipment across campus.
* Working with power tools to build small set pieces and props.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Well-developed technical expertise in audio, visual, and computer technologies.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
Qualifications required include a degree or equivalent qualification in Technical Theatre and/or Audio Visual, or equivalent industry experience, as well as a Senior First Aid Certificate.
