In this role, you will need to communicate effectively with patients and other health care team members and, importantly, be an active participant in fostering our culture, led by the values of collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment. Working with our Registered Nurses both directly and indirectly, you will provide high quality care to the acute inpatients requiring care for cardiac conditions and acute stroke patients.Your role is to provide safe and effective nursing care to patients using an individualised holistic approach related to the goals of care determined by the Primary Nurse (Registered Nurse) and within professional role limits and Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice. You will be supported by your colleagues, Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Educators, and Nursing Unit Managers.We have specific education teams for each of our services within the Unit, who tailor education to support the individual learning needs of the staff and help you upskill to achieve your desired goals.An orientation program is provided to equip you with the required knowledge to care for the diverse range of patients within the Unit.
