Employment type – This is an ongoing opportunity with Department of Communities & Justice within the Murrumbidgee Far West Western NSW District.
Salary – Clerk Grade 3/4 - $79,032 to $86,539 per annum + Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading.

Your role
The Administration Officer provides administrative and executive support services to support the operation of the office of the Director Community Services Western NSW.
The Administrative Officer will provide crucial high-level executive support to the Director and team in Western NSW District with responsibility for various key administrative functions.
What you’ll do
5. Provide a range of administrative and support services, including diary management, travel arrangements, records management, routine correspondence, financial records, meeting minutes and event coordination to support the effective operation of the team/unit
6. Collect and compile information and prepare documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making
7. Coordinate and manage records and databases, complying with administrative systems, processes and policies, to ensure that all information is accurate and stored correctly and securely
What we’re looking for
8. Experience in working in a high-pressure team environment delivering services to vulnerable clients
9. High level organisation, communication and relationship skills
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in order to meet strict deadlines
11. Competency with a range of relevant technology and software applications
12. Ability to interpret policies, standards and procedures and act with a high level of integrity whilst maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
13. You must also hold a valid driver’s licence.
