The RoleThe Directorate of Navy Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT professional to lead a small team of ICT Solution Architects and oversee Information & Communications Technology Systems development, modernisation, and cyber compliance activities, in accordance with the Australian Government’s cyber security framework.This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. The position involves substantial stakeholder engagement, requiring effective communication skills, to support the provisioning and sustainment of ICT systems throughout the System Development Life Cycle.Security Clearance:Prior to commencement, successful applicants will be required to undergo a psychological assessment and an extensive security clearance process.
