The Opportunity As our new Health and Safety officer you will join our existing officer to lead safety initiatives across our manufacturing site. You will be responsible for:Promoting a positive safety culture across the organisationStakeholder and relationship managementConduct regular inspections of the workplace and relevant equipment.Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Support the return-to-work process for employees on workers compensation.Effectively address employee safety concerns and escalate as needed.Coordinate emergency procedures, fire wardens and first aid officersCommunicate regularly with management to provide updates on the status of WH&S programsMonitor correct use of PPESupport injury management and early interventionYour Skills and Experience Ideally you will bring experience in ISO45001Strong understanding of the latest health and safety legislationExcellent communication and problem solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage deadlinesFirst Aid certificateValid drivers' licence Experience in a similar role or relevant qualificationsExcellent communication and problem solving skillsTeam playerIf you would like to be considered for this fantastic opportunity please apply with your CV and cover letter as soon as possible.
