In this position, you will provide high-quality legal services, including duty lawyer services, casework, and legal advice, primarily in criminal law and family violence matters. You will have the chance to work closely with clients in need, ensuring they receive the support and representation essential to navigating complex legal challenges. This role is based at our Horsham office on Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadawadjali, Wergaia and Jupagalk Country. About youAs our ideal candidate, you will possess: Ability to effectively advocate in court settings, particularly in criminal law and family violence cases. Strong understanding of relevant laws and procedures, with practical experience in criminal law, family violence, and other legal aid practice areas. High level of interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering cooperation and support among team members.
