Band 4 - Salary Range $72,119 - $76,460 per annum + 11.5% Super + ADO

The Opportunity
The building team is a critical ‘essential service’ of Council where you will have the opportunity to become an integral team member of a high functioning, driven team who prides itself on delivering excellent customer service and providing a safer community in which to live and work.
Currently seeking an experienced administration officer to provide effective and efficient administration support to the delivery of the Health & Building Unit and excellent customer service to both internal and external customers of the Unit.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative function and support to the Building Unit including word processing, data entry, telephone enquiries, filing and photocopying.
Respond to enquiries in a timely and efficient manner adhering to Council policies and procedures.
Record and register appropriate information in Council’s Electronic Content Management System.
Generate Requisition and authorise payments as per Council’s Purchasing Policy.
Demonstrate a customer focus to internal and external customers.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in the handling of a wide range of information and projects.
Use of computer systems to generate statistics and reports.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Post secondary qualification in administration (below diploma level) plus some experience in an administrative role.
Prioritise and perform a variety of administration tasks to a high level with attention to detail.
Work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable work demands.
Use of computer systems to generate statistics and reports.
