THE COMPANY:
A globally renowned technology company specialising in intelligent transport systems. Our client provides innovative, hardware and software solutions for transport and traffic management. With projects in over 40 countries they maintain a strong focus on environmental sustainability and climate protection.
THE ROLE:
You will form part of the senior leadership team and contribute to the overall strategic and operational success of the Company. The Sales Director - APAC provides strategic and operational leadership in achieving sales targets and growing the APAC Region. This includes building a capable sales organisation that is both proactive and responsive to the needs of our customers, as well as overseeing new business development and delivery of effective solutions to new customers.
4. In consultation with the senior leadership team, develop, own and have primary responsibility for the sales strategy for the APAC region;
5. Create and execute business development and market growth strategies to achieve the company's growth goals in the target markets;
6. Lead and grow the sales team and business development activities
7. Manage and lead the bid proposal team;
8. Work with other contributing functions e.g. Engineering, Operations etc. to ensure highest level of reusability and cost efficiency of solutions and services offered;
9. Lead, coach and support direct reports to carry out their roles;
ABOUT YOU:
10. An experienced solution sales leader within a multinational organisation;
11. Bachelor's Degree qualification is essential; Engineering, or other relevant degree is preferred;
12. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high performing sales, bid/tender, and customer service teams;
13. Ability and willingness to travel interstate and overseas;
14. An inspiring leader with an entrepreneurial attitude;
