About the Role
The Library Services Team provides high-level library services to lawyers and officers of the Attorney-General's Department, including AGS. This role involves delivering customer-focused library services from Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the delivery of reference work, cataloguing print and electronic resources using the Moy's classification scheme
* Providing high-level library services as part of a team, including legal resource training
We are seeking candidates with:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in library studies or information management
* Training experience in a library environment
* Knowledge of library acquisitions and government procurement
* Excellent knowledge of legal materials, maintaining collections and their data
