You will be carrying out various roles as below:
Pre-operative care Assessing and preparing patients for surgery.Ensuring all necessary documentation, equipment, and supplies are ready.Collaborating with the surgical team to plan patient care.Intra-operative Care Scrub Nurse: Assisting the surgeon with instruments and maintaining a sterile field.Scout Nurse: Managing equipment, supplies, and ensuring patient safety.Anaesthetic Nurse: Assisting the anaesthetist with medication administration and patient monitoring.Recovery Nurse (PACU): Providing post-anaesthetic care, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring patient stability.Post-operative Care Monitoring patients in the recovery room (PACU).Managing pain relief and wound care.Educating patients and families on post-surgical care.Day procedure unit Providing 2nd stage recovery and discharge of day cases.Educating patients and families on post-surgical care.About you: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in this role.Ability to work across multiple theatre specialties highly desirable.Strong clinical skillset.Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
