ROC Consulting SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Location: All Brisbane Worktype: Full Time Salary: $150,000 to $160,000 Profession / Role: Engineering > Structural Description: UP TO $160K + SUPERFULL SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE INTERNATIONAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER CONSULTANCY COMPANY This National Construction Company has their Brisbane Office near the Airport and has been operating in Australia for over 20 years & pride themselves on a diverse project portfolio in the sport, leisure, retail, residential, industrial and commercial sectors with a niche focus on delivering high quality shade solutions and structures.This business has core values within their business ethics and believe diversity is one of their key strengths and this has ensured that they are a company of choice.All Senior Management & leadership have incredible longevity within both the business and industry of 20+ years, ranging across all aspects of construction including: Design Engineering Project Management Construction Management Rigging Installation Fabrication POSITION A Senior Project Engineer position has now become available due to company growth and significant demand within the Project Management Department: Oversee a small team of Junior Structural Engineers & Drafters Development of projects from concept through to construction in conjunction with project teams Design of foundations, structural steel, tensile membrane, cables and other items for tensile fabric structures Ensure that the design components of projects meet specifications, codes of practice and best practice Ensure designs are developed in accordance with project brief, procedures and contract requirements Supervision of project drawings created by the drafting team Construction engineering and temporary works design for installations Assisting sales and estimating with project takeoffs and concept generation Prepare project plans and manage project design and materials budgets throughout the design phase Development of ITP's and QA requirements for manufacturing items and ensuring project compliance of subcontractors Ensure accuracy of documentation at all stages of projects Report any non-conforming issues (Quality, Safety, Environment) Report any design changes required arising from manufacturers, project team and installers and evaluate, implement solutions and liaise with project managers for variations BENEFITS Some of the huge benefits for this role are: Confirmed salary range dependant on experience of up to $160K Salary + Super This company is able to offer sponsorship to the right candidate Best industry knowledge at your fingertips from your mentors & managers Nationally recognised business backing EXPERIENCE REQUIRED To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below: Bachelor of Engineering - Structural or Civil Proven experience as an Engineer within Civil / Structural Projects Experience within Tensile Membrane / Fabric Projects is a must Ability to lead a small, agile projects team and demonstrate good business practices Experience with 2D & 3D Design such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.Experience using FEA software and structural analysis techniques Proficient with Microsoft Suite in particular Excel Estimation ability within any form of Civil or Structural projects Clear and strong communication and presentation skills You will be someone who is motivated, tenacious, passionate, driven and hungry to pave a long term successful career with a top industry leader.#J-18808-Ljbffr
