We are unwavering in our commitment to delivering exceptional quality produce every time The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Recruitment and Training Officer, located at our head office in Virginia.
Reporting to the Recruitment Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end to end recruitment of our blue-collar work force, conducting inductions for new employees, maintaining comprehensive training records, and facilitating various training programs.
Key Responsibilities Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and perform in person interviews.
Assist in preparing job descriptions, postings, and maintaining candidate communications throughout the recruitment process.
Manage candidate database and track recruitment progress, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Support onboarding, including document collection and orientation.
Oversee inductions, site tours, and ensure training documentation is entered accurately.
Maintain skills and licence records, ensuring compliance.
Support internal training activities and book external training as required (e.g.
First Aid, Forklift, etc.).
What we are looking for Proven experience in recruitment and/or training, preferably within a blue-collar workforce.
Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes.
Ability to facilitate and coordinate training programs.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Willingness to continuously develop and learn new skills.
High attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and self-motivated approach to tasks.
