The role of Business Development Representative (BDR) is to drive the Sales team's pipeline with high-quality opportunities. This position plays a critical part in the company's success and growth, offering individuals the chance to utilize their creativity, strategic thinking, and communication skills in engaging conversations with prospects.
Key Responsibilities
* To establish connections with senior-level decision-makers through phone, email, and social media interactions in Australia and New Zealand.
* To assess prospect needs, identify pain points, explain Movable Ink solutions, and qualify/disqualify prospects on initial calls and meetings, then hand over to Account Directors for further sales process.
* Collaborate with Account Directors to build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
* To take organized notes, create presentation decks, gather contact information, and nurture contacts after opportunities have been pursued.
* To thoroughly research accounts and prospects, identifying areas of pain, company-wide initiatives, and director-level objectives to formulate an outreach strategy with Account Directors.
* To design mock-ups for prospects showcasing how Movable Ink can provide additional value beyond their current practices.
* To use sales databases and prospecting tools to manage pipelines accurately, ensuring up-to-date information about suspects, prospects, and their companies.
Requirements
* A strong desire to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly strategic sales environment.
* Prior experience in prioritization and organization, both in-person and remotely.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, and other departments.
* At least 1 year of experience in a marketing or sales development role.
