About the Role As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in partnering with MDs and GMs to manage business performance and ensure alignment with financial targets and strategic objectives. This role requires strong financial acumen, the ability to drive insights and analysis, and the leadership to guide and support key brand and functional initiatives. You will be responsible for supporting the achievement of financial targets, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing commercial guidance across the business. Key Responsibilities: Partner with MDs and GMs to manage performance effectively and align financial strategies with business goals Deliver insightful reporting, analysis, and benchmarking to track financial performance across various brands/functions Provide leadership and support in identifying key brand and/or function performance risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and recommending value creation opportunities Work closely with MDs/GMs to formulate inputs for the medium-term plan, ensuring alignment with broader brand/group strategy and objectives Provide commercial leadership and guidance on key brand strategic initiatives, including the development of business cases and other financial analyses as required Drive process improvements and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Finance function Act as the key point of contact for financial advice and decision support for brand and functional leaders. Ensure the timely and accurate provision of financial insights to support key decision-making processes. Skills and Experience You are CA/ CPA qualified, have experience as a Finance Manager in a large complex commercial organisation, with experience engaging extensively outside of finance and partnering with senior stakeholders, ideally in a FMCG, Retail or supply chain business. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to gain the confidence of and develop strong professional relationships with those both above and below you.
