The role Get ready for variety - your day-to-day will keep you on your toes. From operating machinery to maintaining farm infrastructure, and delivering grain and hay to long-standing customers, no two days will be the same. You’ll work with a diverse fleet, including John Deere tractors, New Holland headers, and Baron balers, with farm upgrades on the horizon to keep things interesting. You’ll also be key in rolling out crop management plans, handling chemicals safely, and ensuring all equipment is in top condition. Growth opportunities are real here - whether you’re assisting with future farm or infrastructure upgrades, or aiming to step up into an Assistant Farm Manager role (not essential, but on offer if you so wish). Your responsibilities will also include: Operating tractors and implements efficiently, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs. Delivering hay to local customers when required Maintaining strict Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards Supporting the maintenance of irrigation systems, farm channels, and general farming infrastructure. Playing a key role in rolling out crop management plans. What you bring Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a genuine passion for agriculture and machinery, always ready to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. With hands-on experience in farming and machinery operation - individuals coming from a truck driving, or general farmhand background outside of cropping are also encouraged to apply. You will take pride in your work, communicate effortlessly, and bring integrity and problem-solving to every task.
