PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Endpoint User Services (EUS) Deployment technician is responsible for configuring software packages for deployment within Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and provide ongoing administration within all MECM Environment. You will also provide technical support and advice on MECM Deployments and Application Related Issues. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop and deploy software and security patches to ACT Government environments and computers. Develop and deploy windows-based applications and software in accordance with existing deployment and packaging standards and procedures for a large and complex environment. Deliver high level solutions, including managing and documenting third level problem resolution. Make sure solutions are in place to prevent similar issues from reoccurring. Participate in the creation and maintenance of process documentation, along with its implementation. Interacting with clients and vendors for the creation and deployment of application packages. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Proven ability to adapt to new technical processes and technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for managing software packaging and deployment issues. Experience in using technologies such as Microsoft MECM and PowerShell would be highly regarded. ITIL Foundation Certification or knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure library would be advantageous.
