About the opportunity The Sales Estimator reports to the Sales Estimating Manager and is part of the Sales Estimating team. In this highly rewarding role, you will be accurately determining and calculating estimates of new quote requests for first time homeowners, investor projects, and aspirational builds. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:Estimating on a range of homes including single story, split-level and double-story designsGeneration of site costs including cut/fill operations and dropped edge beam and/or dropped garage calculationsCompletion of sales tenders on registered and unregistered land utilising site inspection photos, reports, satellite photos, and street view by near mapReading and interpreting construction plansCreation of pre-contract variation pricing and preparation of scope of worksAppraisal of external reports to assist you in costing each projectLiaise with various internal and external stakeholders Assist with other areas including but not limited to contract variationAbout you You will share a passion for our purpose to be the leading residential builder in the State and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:A minimum of 2 years experience with a high-volume home builderA formal qualification in building or a trade certificate desirable Sound knowledge of Australian Construction Standards and relevant Australian StandardsSound understanding of local council and developer requirementsOutstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targetsDemonstrate an innovative approach to solving problemsInterested?
