About the Role
Looking for a uni student in Sydney who wants to be part of shaping Australia’s media industry by joining us as a part-time junior journalist.
What You'll Be Responsible For
* Work closely with senior reporters to learn from their experience and receive guidance on their work.
* Generate and source stories.
* Develop and share story ideas and to develop those stories into finished products.
* Fact-checking: Verify that information presented in news stories is accurate and factually correct.
Skills You'll Need
* Works with others by being open, clear in communication and listening to achieve goals.
* Writes in a clear and structured format to convey information and ideas effectively to a target audience.
* Accurately identifies and rectifies discrepancies or errors that exist in information and deliverables.
