Key responsibilities of this role
• Support the development of strategic partnerships across government, industry, and broader stakeholders to ensure that project development and implementation is inclusive of the economic participation needs and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders;
• Support projects to deliver the department's strategic initiatives including the Youth Employment Program;
• Support the development, coordination, and implementation of projects for improved economic participation and community participation outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Queenslanders;
• Contribute to the region's operational planning processes;
• Assist with the preparation of reports, submissions, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence in relation to projects and initiatives;
• Other priorities as requested by Regional Director and Service Centre Manager
• Collect and assist in the analysis of data to inform the development and implementation of projects and initiatives; and
• Support the development and maintenance of strategic planning documents and reporting for the region.
