Job Description: Mars Chocolate Ballarat has a new opportunity for a Dual Trade Reliability Technician to join our Reliability experts who provide ongoing maintenance & support that keep our wonderful Chocolate factory running smoothly. This newly created role will work across different shift-based teams to complete proactive maintenance tasks, support breakdowns based on business needs, and work with the broader Reliability team & Factory Operations.The role operates across both rotating shifts and day shift (50:50 split), with the opportunity to support cross-functional projects within the Ballarat site to ensure continuous improvements are being identified.What are we looking for? A-Grade Electrical LicenseCert III Mechanical Trade or relevant industry experienceProven ability to work in high-pressure environmentExperience in Industrial/Manufacturing maintenanceStrong problem-solving skillsDynamic learner with flexibility to work across multiple areasStrong passion for safety & analytical capabilityWhat will be your key responsibilities? Respond to breakdowns with agility, working with the relevant Shift & Line Managers to prioritise accordinglyComplete preventative maintenance work orders and drive the continuous improvement of the SAP PM system, by ensuring accuracy and quality of informationComplete planned maintenance works in scheduled windows, on time and with no delays or impacts to restartSupport the cross-functional application of Mars Supply Excellence to drive continuous improvementUtilise SAP to record breakdowns to capture and communicate information effectivelyIdentify and complete assigned actions driven by Hazard Escalations and Area Safety Checks to ensure safe work environments for all associates.What can you expect from Mars?
