Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Director to lead our Parramatta office in Sydney.
As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Parramatta office and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Parramatta office, overseeing design and project management of significant urban development projects
* Manage staff workflows, resource allocation, and project assignments for optimal productivity and performance
* Ensure timely delivery of all design aspects of projects to high standards
* Oversee and mentor junior staff members, promoting their professional development
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, valuing staff wellbeing and motivation
* Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through regular interface and liaison
* Maintain knowledge of related safety in design practices and processes
About You
* A minimum of 15 years of civil design experience with at least 5 years of local experience required
* Strong people management and leadership skills essential
* Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve results in a competitive market
* CPEng / NER accreditation required
* Proficiency in 12D, DRAINS, MUSIC, and AutoCad necessary
* Experience working on urban development projects preferred
* Proven ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in report writing
* Sound knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
