You will serve as a subject matter expert on all technical aspects of Everfox's unique and innovative ultra-secure solutions and their deployment, providing pre-sales support for the federal government and defense market in Australia, but based in Canberra.You will have a track record of successfully collaborating with Account Execs in taking innovative security and analytics solutions to the federal government and defense market in Australia, implementing large scale cyber security solutions.
You will have a passion for helping customers solve difficult problems, and an understanding of contributing to the sales of insider threat, data protection, cloud security, and/or cross-domain solutions.This role will primarily be customer-facing; you will be responsible for the success of customer pilots and technical evaluations to demonstrate the business value of Everfox on-prem and cloud security products.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to collaboratively consult with business leaders to understand their challenges and clearly articulate solutions that are technically achievable, appropriate and proportionate to the client's need.You will be sharp, technically literate, commercially astute and self-starting with the ability to articulately consult with both technical and non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally, whilst working almost entirely remotely.
A broad and deep knowledge of a variety of technologies and concepts is essential, whilst also being highly personable and able to present to audiences and speak to people.Due to sensitive customer requirements, applicants should be eligible for security clearance, or ideally already possessing a level of clearance (ideally at least NV1).
International travel is expected occasionally, typically once a quarter.Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly with prospective customers to position Everfox Security solutions for success and to shape project requirements.Manage a complex technical sales process, from initial solution discovery through proof-of-concept delivery and proposal development.Skilfully present the technical merits of the Everfox security offerings, deliver compelling product demos and pilots, and expertly handle technical objections.Using and configuring Everfox security solutions to deliver actionable analytic results, and working closely with the client and Everfox engineers to ensure successful pilot efforts.Provide technical support to the sales teams by creating high quality presentations and rapidly responding to requests for information and helping to craft sales strategies and tactics when appropriate.Attend events and conferences as required to support GTM activities.Technical KnowledgeExcellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including:Internet securityAnti-malware technologiesProxy technologiesExperience with Windows, Linux, SIEM, information security, networking, scriptingExperience working in virtualized, networked environments, specifically VMWare and Hyper-V based systemsPractical information security experience to support the technical sales effort; including demonstrated knowledge of Web Security, Email Security and Secure Data Transfer solutions.Advanced understanding of enterprise networking, including SaaS and Cloud solutions, such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.Key Experience and SkillsStrong experience in a sales engineering/pre-sales role supporting critical security solutions.Eligible for security clearance, ideally you will already be cleared to at least NV1.Ability to work as part of a sales team to formulate account strategies.Experience with building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer's technical staff.Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to both business and technical users.Experience with responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.Deep knowledge of sales cycle and pre-sales activities.Experience working with both technical teams and end users.Resilience and ability to handle stressful situations effectively while managing several tasks.A self-starter and proactive leader willing to display initiative with common sense.Results driven and committed to 'outcomes rather than output'.Capable of developing empathy and rapport internally with staff and with customers and partners.Strong work ethic and committed to quality.Disciplined, organized and methodical in approach to tasks and activities.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Sales, and Business DevelopmentIndustries: Computer and Network Security and Software Development
