We’re on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team!The OpportunityWe’re seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis (0.6–0.8 FTE). In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our financial operations, supporting the Finance Manager with essential tasks including month-end processes, financial reporting, and business improvement initiatives.This role offers the flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week, with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While we may need your support during critical periods such as month-end and year-end, we’ll work with you to create a schedule that suits both your needs and the organisation’s priorities.What You’ll DoPrepare and manage financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit & loss statements.Handle BAS preparation and ensure compliance with regulations.Maintain cash flow forecasts and fixed asset registers.Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and reporting.Develop and distribute operational dashboards to provide insights into financial performance.Support process improvements, budgeting, and external audits.What we are looking forTertiary degree in Accounting with part or full CA or CPA qualification.Minimum of 5+ years of finance experience in a similar role.Experience with financial operations in a mid-to-large-scale organization or relevant industry is highly desirable.Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships across all levels.A proactive, solution-focused mindset and eagerness to drive continuous improvement.How We Support YouBalance is Everything – We understand that life outside of work is just as important as what you do on the job.
