Description We are seeking to appoint a Civil Designer in a full-time permanent position for our Community Development team in Hervey Bay.
Our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes.

Reporting to the Design Lead, the Civil Designer will contribute to delivering innovative solutions in all facets of land, urban and subdivision projects in this region.
This role will suit an experienced 12D Designer who has worked on civil projects.
The role Preparing conceptual and detailed designs using 12D (land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems as well as associated infrastructure)Interpreting civil design requirements State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clientsInterfacing with associated disciplines such as planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscapingInteracting with clients regarding project needs ensuring that expert and quality service is deliveredCollaborating with diverse teams nationallyAbout you Demonstrated civil design/drafting experience within a consulting environmentRelevant qualificationsDemonstrated experience ideally using 12DFamiliarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirementsA commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional developmentWhat we offer Along with a competitive salary we offer many other benefits to ensure your professional development & wellbeing is ongoing.
