Senior Project Manager Role Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the project management and lifecycle of all retail fixture development and execution for Cheil Australia. This role requires a strong focus on business development, commercial astuteness, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Project Managers, Coordinators, and Administrators in the development and delivery of production solutions across retail and brand experience projects.
* Enable the delivery of robust, creatively-sound production solutions for retail fixtures, retail display, retail fit-outs, and store development projects with executional excellence, within set timeframes and budgets.
* Manage briefs provided by the internal account team or directly from clients, liaising with vendors to create relevant estimations in order to win business opportunities.
* Support account services to build, maintain, and manage client relationships, collaborating with key project stakeholders including the internal creative team, Global HQ, Design Architects, Design Consultants, and all key partners.
* Initiate projects via client briefings, allocating internal resources to clients and suppliers as required, negotiating scopes and preparing presentations for clients.
* Provide estimations to clients and review estimations provided by vendors, managing projects end-to-end including design, technical, procurement, production, logistics, installation, and maintenance/operations.
* Closely manage project financials, ensuring effective delivery within budget and profitable outcomes.
Requirements:
* Tertiary level qualification in Project Management or a related field.
* 8+ years of previous experience in a similar role, shop fitting/joinery industry, or retail project management.
* Knowledge and expertise in consumer electronics retail ecosystem, shop design and fixture production, project management, procurement, and supplier management.
* Extensive experience in client services and relationship management, shop fitting, joinery, fixture background preferred.
* General understanding of marketing concepts (Shopper, POSM, merchandising, etc.) and retail point of sale systems.
