APS 6 Establishment and Compliance ManagerThis pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.The Role Under the direction of the Assistant Director Recruitment, the APS 6 Establishment and Compliance Manager is responsible for a range of human resources activities including the creation of positions, circulating position reports, contract and people data management, and Working with Children Check compliance.If you are looking for a non-ongoing role and are based in Canberra, this just might be the role for you.Duties: Responsible for the position management in Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS).Register, action, and distribute all incoming establishment variation requests. Tasks include:Creating approved/budgeted positions in HRMIS.Amending the terms of a position.Work Pattern Changes.Maintain staffing establishment, including providing fortnightly updates to Frontline Service Directors for their cluster of hostels.Maintain and distribute Organisation Chart (Org Chart) to be published on the intranet and distributed to Executive and stakeholder groups.Review current internal processes to identify and develop improvements to current processes and procedures in place.Accurately maintain employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) records in HRMIS, including coordinating monthly audits and providing reporting data monthly. Assist in other HR-related reporting where required.Provide support to the HRMIS project team with the integration of the new HRMIS system.Undertake HR reporting tasks to support internal and legislative reporting requirements. Tasks may include ad-hoc reporting, completion of ABS Surveys, preparation of Workers' Compensation premium estimates and actuals, and data input for the Annual Report, etc.Do You Have? Demonstrated ability to support outcomes for First Nations peoples and communicate sensitively and effectively with First Nations peoples.Relevant experience working as an Establishment Officer/Workforce Report Analyst or similar.Proficient in Excel with strong administrative skills and experience with HR-related systems.Ability to organize your work independently, manage competing priorities, and complete tasks within set timeframes.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Previous experience in a similar role.If you are interested in the role, please submit via the link.
