About the role We are currently recruiting for a Sewer Operator/ Attendant.
This role will suit someone with a background as a plant operation, trades assistant or labourer.
Key responsibilities; • Responsible for the operation of sewer facilities for Essential Water • Emergency response recording and reporting on maintenance activities • Response to customer enquiries and complaints • Maintaining standards to remain compliant with quality assurance guidelines About You You will be someone with a strong commitment to a quality culture and implementing standards of excellence and a continuous improvement business focus.
In your role you will be required to demonstrate safety and environmental compliance behaviours through role modelling and support of fellow employees.
Required Qualifications • Ability to demonstrate relevant skills through past employment experience and/or a willingness to pursue a Wastewater Treatment Operations • Drivers Licence and Work Cover Tickets for loaders, tippers, and backhoes (preferred, but can be obtained) • Experience or willingness to develop skills in the operation, maintenance, and installation of sewerage facilities • Knowledge of or interest in learning the application of industry, regulatory, and statutory requirements related to sewer and wastewater management Why Essential Water We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience and 16% superannuation.
