The Company

The Role
Coordinating and carrying out Hydraulic Services design for a range of projects, including Aged Care, Health and Hospital, Retail, Residential, Defence, Industrial, and Government projects.
The Hydraulic Services Designer shall be integral in enabling the company's growth and expansion via providing proactive input into marketing and client liaison.
Will be capable of managing small to large-sized projects, providing supervision, guidance, and assistance to junior team members with minimal supervision.
Assisting in developing new business and managing projects efficiently and profitably.
Assisting with fee proposals and then tracking, time & budget to invoicing, and cash flow are appropriately managed.
Contribute and Collaborate with all staff to achieve excellence in delivery for all projects.
The Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of understanding of relevant Australian Standards (e.g. AS3500, AS2419, AS5601, etc.) authority and local requirements.
Develop hydraulic services design on projects (or components of projects), design basis, the scope of works, specifications, etc., in accordance with required standards and good engineering practice.
Participate in construction support activities, including responses to requests for information (RFIs), submittal reviews, construction site visits, and design revisions/change management.
Assist in identifying time variations and reporting the impact on schedule and budget to the client or manager.
Coordinate requirements between other disciplines and perform checks of documents and drawings of other disciplines.
Understanding, identifying, and proactively managing individual risk and issue events and overall project risk by minimising threats and maximising opportunities.
Capable of occasional use of REVIT and CAD programs for delivery of projects should it be required to assist in delivering projects in a timely manner.
The Requirements
* A good level of Project Management and Technical ability across Engineering disciplines.
* Able to take responsibility for projects
* Understanding of Standards and Legislation across disciplines
* Able to communicate on a technical and project level with clients, staff, and management.
* Good Developed Hydraulic Engineering and assessment skills
* Ability to understand the importance of focusing on time and budget deliverables and ability to motivate others.
* Ability to work independently with minimal input and supervision
* Approachable personality
* Able to undertake problem-solving to derive innovative solutions
* Able to communicate with stakeholders on behalf of clients
* A good level of report writing and communication skills
* QBCC Hydraulic Services Licence or RPEQ or ability to gain
