From researching and writing compelling product descriptions to evolving the Harvey Norman tone of voice, you’ll play a key role in delivering content that informs, inspires, and converts. Your new role Content creation and optimisation Craft engaging e-commerce copy, including product descriptions and promotional content, that aligns with our brand voice and drives purchases. Research and create SEO-friendly content to enhance the discoverability of our products. Maintain a consistent tone of voice while refining editorial guidelines and style guides. Collaboration and delivery Partner with internal teams to plan and deliver premium content that supports marketing objectives. Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with brand standards. Ensure all content is published accurately and on time, leveraging CMS tools. Content standards and growth Support the evolution of our brand’s tone of voice and editorial policies. Monitor and refine content processes to improve efficiency and quality. About You You’re a creative, detail-oriented writer who is excited by the fast pace of e-commerce. You’ll bring: Professional skills Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or equivalent experience. Strong writing and editing capabilities. A razor-sharp eye for detail and impeccable editing skills. Technical know-how Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like Magento (preferred but not essential). A basic understanding of SEO or a keen interest in learning best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
