In this role, you will be a key contact for internal & external communication between customer service, warehousing, transport, and logistics, keeping Chain of Responsibility as a key focus when undertaking your daily tasks. You will report into the Warehouse Manager and be required to be onsite for day shift hours.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Allocating & coordinating truck movements
2. Creating pick slips, DA’s, and pallet transfers as well as issuing and adjusting corrugates
3. Liaising with scheduling & customer service to ensure stock is ready at allocated times
4. Communicating with our interstate/external providers to ensure bookings are made
5. Assisting Forklift Driver loading requirements
6. Reconciling Chep & Loscam invoices
7. Checking Interstate & sub-contractors invoices
8. Cross training with Inventory controller
What you will need to succeed:
1. The ability to work under pressure and to prioritize multiple tasks
2. Strong planning and organizational skills
3. Intermediate Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel skills
4. The ability to build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Willingness to grow and expand your skillset and teach others
