Join a leading construction company dedicated to delivering excellence in every project.With a strong commitment to safety and quality, they have a number of exciting commercial projects in the pipeline, they are currently seeking a skilled Site Foreperson to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.Benefits of this role: Work for an established and reputable Construction company Work on an exciting multi-million dollar commercial project in Melbourne Collaborative and supportive work environment fostering success About the role As a Site Foreperson, you'll be responsible for overseeing construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving results.Key Responsibilities include: Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols.Ensure that the site is safe after working hours, fencing is secure, complete filing, paperwork, emailing, site diary, and generally prepare for the next day.Lead and motivate on-site personnel, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives efficiently.Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to address issues and maintain project momentum.Alongside the Construction Manager, you will attend site meetings, schedule material deliveries, monitor and report on costings and collate and analyse variations.Conduct regular inspections to uphold quality standards and identify areas for improvement.Monitor project progress and report updates to management, proactively addressing any challenges or delays.Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and labor usage to support project planning and budget management.Organise and submit delay notices, extensions of time, RFIs, Builder's Instructions Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the building design, scheduling, possible cost savings measures and potential construction problems before they occur.Experience and skills required: Proven experience as a Site Foreperson or similar role within the construction industry.Carpentry background desirable Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire on-site teams.Proficiency in safety regulations and best practices.Familiarity with construction management software is advantageous.How to Apply: If you think you may be a good fit, click 'APPLY' or send an up-to-date CV to ******.For a confidential discussion, please call Aimee on 0484 050 660.
