The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure cloud architecture, Linux administration, and VMware Cloud Foundation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while optimising cloud infrastructure and improving operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and manage scalable Azure cloud architectures to meet business needs. Administer Azure PaaS services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL. Implement and monitor Azure security best practices, focusing on access controls, encryption, and Azure Policy. Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that ensure high availability, security, and performance. Optimise and monitor Azure resources to maintain cost efficiency and resource utilisation. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and ARM templates. Manage infrastructure deployment using CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git). Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS). Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access controls. Troubleshoot and optimise system performance, including kernel tuning and resource management. Administer VMware Cloud Foundation environments, deploying and managing virtual machines and storage. Respond to incidents and service requests, escalating issues when necessary. Use monitoring tools to track system health and proactively resolve issues. Automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency through scripting (Bash, Python). Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless service delivery and ongoing improvement. Key Skills & Requirements: Strong experience with Azure cloud platforms, including PaaS services and security best practices. Proficient in Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS). Experience with Terraform, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience in VMware Cloud Foundation administration. Solid understanding of cloud security principles and access controls. Familiarity with monitoring tools and system performance analysis. Proficient in scripting for automation (Bash, Python). Strong troubleshooting skills and experience managing cloud and virtualisation environments. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
