12 month contract opportunity based in Geelong
Your new role
The Project Manager role will be contributing in Victorian government entity based in Geelong to be responsible for Contact Centre Product Roadmap.
Accountabilities
1. Track and report progress and performance of projects, producing and maintaining plans regarding timeframes and resourcing, ensuring necessary modules and programs are completed according to project plans and the Project Delivery.
2. Implement demand management analysis and planning activities.
3. Take technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development. Plans and drives software construction activities.
4. Report on project delivery, milestones and progress against agreed plans, and in-line with the department's Project Delivery Methodology.
5. Prepare timely, accurate and high-quality reports, documents (e.g., Concept Brief, program plan), briefings and presentations for key stakeholders and project governance forums (i.e., Project Steering Committee, Transformation Decision Group), on often complex issues, within the department in relation to the delivery and management of projects.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Extensive project lifecycle experience understanding the planning and delivery of projects in its entirety.
2. Understanding in key technical areas - ODM, API & Datapower, PAM, FileNet Hosting.
3. Demonstrated experience and ability in preparing project plans and project documents that are aligned with the organisation’s strategic vision.
4. Experience of ICT project management including proven management of multiple projects concurrently within large and complex organisations.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports, project briefings, presentations, and policy recommendations on broad and complex issues.
