How will I help?
As an Executive Manager, you will be supporting the CRO and Head of Risk and Group Functions risk team in providing independent insight, oversight, and challenge of the risk management practices of the Group Functions.
Some of the key accountabilities are:
Supporting CRO and Head of Risk Group Functions in challenging the effectiveness of business risk practices, highlight gaps and risks outside appetite and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework including challenging the business risk culture and risk maturity self-assessments.
Coaching and supporting business in implementation, embedment and maturing the Operational Risk Management Framework and engage 2LOD Risk expertise where required e.g. Compliance, Assurance, Prudential and Risk Class Owners.
Providing the business with specialist, outcome-focused risk advice and insights that influence decisions, optimise risk/reward balance and in achieving objectives, within risk appetite.
Sharing solutions, insights, advice and recommendations from lessons learnt and potential risk impacts discussed internally and from external developments.
Contributing to the development of insightful and action-oriented risk management information at the Business Unit and Division levels.

What do I need?
Extensive years of specific business experience in a relevant area of the same or another financial services organisation; or
Substantial years of operational risk and/or compliance advisory experience in the same or another Business Unit within the Group, financial services organisation, or consulting and/or audit firm with financial services experience
Demonstrable experience of influencing business leadership teams, strategic thinking and prioritisation.
Relevant industry qualifications e.g. risk, compliance or business-related
