The Work Health & Safety Advisor will play a key part in assisting the Sustainability & Safety Manager in maintaining the highest possible WHS Program. Overall responsibility of this role will be managing the daily operations of the WHS Program and provide guidance to the manufacturing and retail field-based teams across Australia and New Zealand.
The role will also be critical in promoting a positive WHS culture that encourages staff to maintain a high level of awareness and compliance to achieve Krispy Kreme’s WHS objectives.
The WHS Advisor will provide insights and recommendations to the Sustainability & Safety Manager based on research and analysing current trends and performance.

You are seen as a Work Health Safety expert for managing the Krispy Kreme WHS systems and delivering exceptional quality standards.Training and coaching operators and team leaders to drive ownership and accountability to ensure that all WHS hazards and associated controls are implemented, practiced, and reviewed with a continuous improvement mindset.Supporting Site Leaders and Management teams with consultation, incident response, investigation, root cause analysis, emergency preparedness, and risk management protocols with an emphasis on compliance and continuous improvement.An effective QMS is embedded into the system ensuring document and data control protocols are sound and meet statutory retention requirements.The WHS Team meets or exceeds annual WHS Department goals.There is an effective collaborative approach displayed at all touchpoints and internal interactions to the cross-functional role of WHS AdvisorYou provide regular support and guidance to Field teams, regularly taking part in area and site meetings to promote and action Health & Safety concerns.Frequent feedback and reports are provided to the Sustainability & Safety Manager and other Senior Management teams on standards identifying areas of improvement utilising trend data.You stay grounded and are true to yourself. Education
3. Tertiary or equivalent formal qualification in Work Health Safety (minimum cert IV).Intermediate level Microsoft word/power/excel qualification.Lead Auditor qualifications (ISO 45001).
Experience
4. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working within an integrated WHSE system within a FMCG business.Well-rehearsed in undertaking integrated risk assessments, conducting internal inspections, and facilitating WHS consultative sessions.Operating within a certified ISO QMS.Experience in the interpretation and application of Health, Safety legislation / statutory requirements.Experience in developing operational programs for multi-site business.Industry knowledge of the Food and Beverage category.
