Salary : Stream C Award BT3 : $91,003.49 per annum + Superannuation + $5k retention payment + $5K attraction allowance + overtime + on-call allowances
Central Highlands Regional Council is currently looking for a trade qualified plumber to join the dynamic network team based in Emerald.
In this role you will use your existing trade skills and knowledge to lead a small team to proactively maintain Council's water and wastewater infrastructure to minimise interruptions to critical services across the Central Highlands region.
Based in Emerald you will support the networks team by : Leading and developing a small team whilst coordinating daily plumbing activities for planned and responsive maintenanceWorking with the Supervisor Networks to assist in the preparation of upcoming worksUndertaking regular inspections of water and wastewater systems and correcting defectsResponding to public enquiries in relation to plumbing related issuesTo be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess :
QBCC Plumbers and Drainers licenceCurrent Queensland Manual Drivers licenceGeneral Construction White CardSound knowledge of water and wastewater network management, planned and responsive maintenance activitiesSignificant field experience in a similar or related leadership roleA proactive and results driven approach to tasksIf you are interested in becoming a member of the Infrastructure and Utilities team, then we'd like to hear from you!
This position will also require you to be part of an on-call roster with applicable allowances and overtime rates.
