The Role
We are looking for a Heavy Fleet Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to join us within the Mount Isa Copper Mobile Maintenance team. This role would report into the Superintendent Mobile Maintenance and will be on a 7/7 continuous work roster. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising all MICO underground mobile assets to ensure their effective and efficient operation. You will also be responsible for providing effective leadership, planning, and direction for the mobile maintenance workshop group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: The efficient and effective execution of mobile asset maintenance plans and schedules The delivery of mobile asset maintenance targets Providing input and intelligence as to the efficiency and effectiveness of the asset management strategy Accountable for safety performance and safety management practices of the Mobile Maintenance Workshop Maintenance function and safety leadership across MICO The financial management and performance of the Mobile Asset Maintenance function Leading and managing the Mobile Asset Maintenance group and establishing an inclusive group culture including building employee capability to support strategic objectives Continuous improvement of the Mobile Asset Maintenance function including the realization of benefits The successful candidate will possess: Trade Qualified S1, S2, S3 Queensland Drivers Licence Extensive knowledge & implementation of asset maintenance systems and processes 7+ years mobile maintenance infrastructure experience (mining desirable) Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies Extensive understanding of UG mining systems and processes and their inter-relationships Demonstrated knowledge of risk management, safety systems & legislative requirements for underground mining Knowledge of financial management and analytics Experience in leading, mentoring and developing people For further information, please contact: Jo-Mari Botha, Recruitment advisor on 0437 176 896 or email:
