About us Ngamai Wilam is a newly built 12-bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale, set to open in May 2025. Jointly funded by the Australian Federal Government and the Victorian Government, this specialist statewide service will be managed by Alfred Health. The service will provide 24/7 trauma-informed, recovery-focused care for adults aged 18 and over, in a gender-inclusive, home-like therapeutic environment. With a strong focus on family and chosen supports, Ngamai Wilam is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes long-term recovery. About the role As Facility Manager, you will: Lead the operational and nursing establishment of Ngamai Wilam, working alongside the Operations Manager and Director. Develop and embed a positive, therapeutic culture, ensuring a seamless start-up process. Recruit and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a strong and cohesive workforce. Create and implement workflows that support individualised care, family involvement, and recovery-focused practices. Collaborate with key partners, including Eating Disorders Victoria and the broader mental health sector. About You Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA / Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia via AHPRA / Dietitian with current status as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) / Social Worker eligible to meet requirements for the AASW registration Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience including having worked within a residential setting Leadership and/or Operational Management experience Other relevant tertiary qualifications to the role, highly regarded Australian working rights.
