About us:
Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS) provides specialist mental health, substance, and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas (catchment in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area. Rockhampton is the principal service centre and as such provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, and is the location of the Acute Adult Inpatient Facilities.
About the role:
Provide nonclinical support to the Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service in the area of cleaning and waste management. Facilities supported include Community Care Unit, Mental Health Inpatient Units, Sterling Place and Child and Youth Services.
1. Maintain effective communication with staff of all levels in order to achieve organisational goals.
2. Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and with patients/clients.
About you:
3. Experience or ability to acquire skills in areas e.g., Cleaning, and Waste Management.
4. Demonstrated ability to recognise where improvements are required, and the process involved in implementing the changes.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage required timeframes to ensure that there is no disruption to services within the Central Queensland Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service.
6. Ability to work in a team environment in a large organisation.
7. Ability to abide by relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.

Total remuneration value of up to $61,652 p.a. is comprised of:
8. An hourly rate between $30.33 - $32.36 p.h.
