Locations: VIC - SBK HWT Tower 40 City Road SouthbankTime Type: Part-timePosted On: Posted YesterdayJob Requisition ID: R0033072What's the role?This 12-month Part-time (3 days a week max term) role is newly created to lead the growth of the subscription growth experimentation program, specifically the creation of the editorial / AI experimentation program from end to end.Manage the creation of an editorial experimentation strategy, including implementation of tagging to sites as relevant, stakeholder and program management, and data analysis.Development of end-to-end experimentation/AB testing from data-driven hypothesis generation to results.Identify opportunities for experimentation, solving business or customer problems and pain points.Data-driven insights presentations, with an aim to develop a business understanding of our audience and thus more robust experimentation strategies.Be the data and experimentation SME to the wider subscriptions growth business including usage of NewsQuery and Optimizely.Be part of and lead cross-functional project teams as a subject matter expert on consumer data and experimentation.Subscriptions Growth including financial performance to budget. Ensuring all experimentation adds business value with a focus on growing subscriptions or reducing churn.Who are you?Strong understanding of statistical concepts and ability to explain them to a non-technical audience.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.Data-driven thinking.Strong technical skills and business acumen, and the ability to communicate effectively across both worlds.Demonstrated previous experience working with SQL and Big Query.Strong experience in using Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or similar.Previous experience in using Optimizely or other web-based experimentation platforms.Knowledge of HTML or JavaScript is ideal.Strong data and statistical competency.News BenefitsNews Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients, and communities.
