About the Role As an EL1 Project Manager, responsible for delivering complex projects that support key strategic objectives.
You will coordinate a range of projects and work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This dynamic role requires expertise in managing ICT projects, ensuring effective project governance, and resolving issues across a wide variety of activities.
Develop, manage, and implement project plans, schedules, and governance frameworks.
Contribute to project design, operational integration, and the achievement of key milestones.
Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and oversee procurement and contract activities.
Provide regular project updates, including status reports and exception reports.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and benefits.
Analyse project performance and ensure deliverables meet client needs and project goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, advocating for organisational interests.
About you To thrive in this role, you need: Proven experience in contract management.
Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
Keen attention to detail.
Experience managing and guiding a team to deliver high-quality results.
Knowledge of Commonwealth legislative requirements and procurement guidelines.
Enthusiastic about accessibility and inclusive design.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and industry-recognised project management qualification (e.g., Diploma of Project Management).
Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
Must be an Australian Citizen.
