About the Role:
12-month contract with potential beyond for a APS4 Scheme Debt Finance Officer to join the Fraud Investigations branch of a large federal agency currently undertaking several major transformation projects.
Hourly rate of $43.82 + Superannuation.
Based in Geelong with 3 days in the office and the rest from home.
Key Duties:
* Developing and managing project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.
* Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.
* Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities.
* Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
* Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
* Monitoring project budgets, reviewing and reporting on expenditure and assisting with procurement and contract management.
* Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
* Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
Key Skills Required:
* Ability to comply with all legislative and policy requirements.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Debt Recovery experience.
* Database administration and analysis.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
