About the role We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on, customer-focused Level 2 support at our Kalgoorlie campus. Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to students and staff. Maintain and upgrade hardware and software, keeping our tech environment running smoothly. Work independently on-site while collaborating with Perth-based teams. Deliver end-user training and support for new technologies and systems. Contribute to IT projects, process improvements, and innovation initiatives. What We’re Looking For: IT qualifications coupled with demonstrated experience in high-level technical support Strong problem-solving skills in diverse IT environments Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities effectively Experience with Microsoft, Linux and Mac OS. Work Requirements: Full working rights in Australia On-site position, therefore successful candidates must currently be living and/or have confirmed relocation to Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Ability to work outside of normal working hours when required. Ability to travel to other Curtin campuses when required. Level of fitness commensurate with the requirements of the role.
